Guitar Guru



These oil paintings are part of a series of cubist inspired figurative pieces I'm slowly working on. It started with this one that I did in art school, "Guitar Holding A Man" (shown above). I realized making this one (below) that I hate working on a canvas that's completely square.


These paintings have been lying around my apartment for the last year and a half unfinished. This weekend I decided to finish them up once and for all.

ooo that one is cool. It is very Puteaux Cubist. I like the shapes and modeling.

The guitar piece rules too. It didn't load the first time. It has alot of nice movement and nice harmonious shapes. Cool series.
